Leicester to replace Ron-Robert Zieler with Eldin Jakupovic
Leicester will step up their interest in Hull keeper Eldin Jakupovic after selling Ron-Robert Zieler to Stuttgart.
Germany international Zieler joined the Foxes from Hannover last summer but made just 13 appearances and kept only one clean sheet last term.
“I have the feeling that something can develop at the club,” said Zieler after returning to the Bundesliga with Stuttgart.
Foxes boss Craig Shakespeare is an admirer of Jakupovic, who is set to quit Hull in a cut-price £2million deal after relegation.
Shakespeare feels he will provide more competition to Kasper Schmeichel.
